image000005.jpg image000001.jpg image000002.jpg image000000.jpg image000000.jpg Hello can anyone help me identify this beautiful Rhinestone Set. There is no makers mark but my aunt passed this set down to me and she got it from my grandma and my grandma never told her any information on it. I just started collecting and selling vintage jewelry and I'm hoping someone can tell me if it's valuable or who its made by or anything about it. Thank you so much image000005.jpg image000001.jpg image000002.jpg image000000.jpg image000000.jpg

Hello @Meganj & welcome to the forum!!:happy:

The jewelry gurus will be able to answer your questions but it may be tomorrow morning.

The only thing I can tell you is that the rhinestones are called Aurora Borealis & they were really big in the 1950s & 1960s.

Also if you could go back & choose full size on your photos that would be great. The small size makes it difficult to see & many of our members are hesitant to click on photos from new members.

Swarovski developed Aurora Borealis rhinestones in 1955, so you lovely set has to date after that :)

Well done on the ID Aznathalie, and KSW. :singing:

Meganj, maybe write that name down somewhere for your notes. Juliana (DeLizza & Elster, or D&E) jewelry was never marked, but is quite collectible and is a cut above with costume. There are some signs to ID it, and luckily a few members here knew the signs to look for. It is the sort of thing that not everyone (even a jeweler) would know.

Lovely set from your grandma. Always keep the earrings with it, too. It's nice to have a set.
