Hello!! I recently came across this pair of chairs - one has traditional 4 legs, the other is a rocker. I am having difficulty identifying the time period and style of these chairs. I believe they are cherry and hand carved. I was unable to find any markings.

Any thoughts on value? There is some damage to the seat on the legged chair.

thank you so much for your help!

These are Empire revival circa 1910. Likely part of a parlor set and birch rather than cherry.

Unfortunately, chairs are easy to overvalue. These are nice (agree with Brad on style and date), but probably less than $100 each. A full parlor set would have more value.

Hi and WELCOME Kristen to the forum!!!! When posting images, it would help all of us, if you could upload them FULL SIZE!! There are some VERY WISE older eyes here (myself included!!) who can benefit from the larger images!! If on a computer, here's some help for that!! Others can help if you're doing it from a smart phone!! THANKS SO MUCH!!!!
