    Hello,

Does anyone know anything about these chairs? I know they're probably reprodux and not proper antiques but thought I'd ask, can't find any markings, stamps or manufacturer on them anywhere.

    Any help much appreciated!

    Hi, King E!
Hope you don't mind, but I resized & lightened a couple of your photos so folks could see them better.

    Hi,
I used to know the meaning of red strips in the burlap straps on the bottom of your chairs. I think the more red strips in the burlap, the higher the quality but I can not swear to it.

Spanish revival. Would normally think these circa 1930 but seem to be in better condition than I would think for this age.

Thanks for the great replies! I can take more photos if needed with better lighting etc?

I've got 5 of these, the leather seems in great condition on them, as if they've hardly been used of possible restored?

How much do you think these will be worth then?

Depends on where you are. Here in the Midwest, I would think very little. Maybe $100-$150 for the set at retail. Less at auction. It is not a popular style here. In CA, you might do a lot better.

Earlier, I'd say. Late 19th C or so. Give them a go with saddle soap on the leather and beeswax over the whole lot. About £100 to £200 at most.

Great! I'll get some saddle soap and beeswax then! Think I may keep one as I actually really like them, and sell four.

I can't say this is correct but I had some similar chairs and found comparables listed as Renaissance Revival.

I like them and I'd buy them in England...but for about 20 pounds max each.

I think all three of us who posted values are pretty consistent in this case.

Just to be clear...I'd buy them for 20 too 25lbs each and sell them for 25 or so US. And I'd sell them in seconds.

LOL Somehow the 1 came off my sales price....I'd sell them for 125. They would sell quickly (I had some similar pieces run out the door the first week I was open)

So you would buy 5 chairs at approximately $100.00 (or more) and sell them at $125.00? I can't live on that kind of profit margin myself. Could maybe do this easily all the time but be exhausted and broke in the process.

    Must....not....type....quickly....at....work!!!!!
125 EACH. 20£ each with shipping and exchange equals $30 each, selling at $125. Its a better business model with all the correct data lol.
