Help Identifying An Older Painting?

This is another item purchased at an estate sale... It was sold as artist unknown, anyone have an opinion on who the artist may be?

There seems to be a signature in the lower right hand corner. Could we see a close up please?

 

First impression of style reminds me of Chagall.

Heavy duty Christian symbolism, of course. References Holy Communion, the blood & body of Christ, it even brings to mind the Holy Grail. The fish calls on the loaves & fishes as well as the early Christian cryptic ΙΧΘΥΣ.

 

I'd love to see a higher resolution pic of the whole thing.

Would likely do better taking pics outside in light shade.
