I found this pottery jug in Los Angeles, CA. It’s signed on the bottom and also has an incised flower mark. It measures 8” H x 6 1/2” W. Any help will be appreciated in identifying this piece. Thanks!

Beautiful pot-if it wasn't for the sig,i'd think it was Japanese (Bizen ?-too many Japanese schools of ceramics for my brain).

I thought it could be Japanese, too. But the signature definitely changed my mind. Thank you for your insight!
