Help Identify Art Glass Vase

Good evening. I wonder if any of you underappreciated glass scholars might know who made this vase? Height is about 7". There's a layer of white casing a layer of clear with blue diagonal stripes. The interior has an interesting matte aubergine-colored finish. See the photos for the etched signature...sorry we couldn't get a better image. The work seems accomplished enough for the artist to be known and maybe have a following. Anybody know any more? Love to hear about it. Thanks.

 

I misspoke...it's clear over white.

 

Rub a little cinnamon over the signature . It really helps sometimes. Just a guess here but maybe James Dieboldt?

So, I enlarged, enhanced.....in the first image, I think the FIRST NAME is clearer, and in the second image, I think the LAST NAME is clearer.....see if it helps any of you to figure out who it is...'cuz I'm not sure!!!!!​
