The seller said these were fancy fence sections, cost over $100 ea section new, but I'm not sure at allnThey are about 10' x 5', coated with some rust-preventing shiny black stuff, made of welded wire about 1/8 or 3/16" diameter.. There are two "v" troughs, top and bottom, running the length of each mat, I know they're not antique but I had to ask here. Exactly what are they for?

Possible, but each rectangle is about 1" x 3", so certain things would escape from the cart

Those at Homer's are different enuf that I think not, but that's a very close match. The concrete mats are intentionally left uncoated and rusty for a better grip.

That's actually why I bought them (that and the very low price.). If I find out they're fancy fences as the seller said, I'd make out better selling them.

I've seen a couple kinds of runway mats, and those tend to have more solid surface area than hole area.

I did think they were a bit holy, so maybe they are prayer mats?

    Thanks
That looks identical to what I got, thanks. I think I'll put it to use for storage needs. Might try cutting 4 sections which are then joined flexibly at ends so they can be arranged as a box, the bottom of which is a steel pallet. Put metal stuff in it then store it up high where flammable stuff is forbidden.

I think concrete rebar. Actually they are often treated to prevent rust as the rust can weaken the metal over time.
