Featured Help ID mid century enamel fish plate wall hanger

    I bought this at a auction I thought it was different and unique. I couldn't find anything like it online or any makers mark. I was curious to see if anyone might know who made this? Thank you for any info!

    Thanks kyratango! Here is the only other one I have found bit it's in Chinese or Japanese.

    It's a carp, if that helps. The metalwork looks Japanese to me, but the two countries ping-ponged designs back and forth. Still do, probably.

    I tend to associate good mixed metal work and carp with Japan. And also, that colour. Lovely thing.
