I'm trying to price this sheet music holder/magazine rack. The Ferguson maker seems to be worth a lot, but I can't identify this as Ferguson. Thank you. IMG_20160326_184614759~01.jpg IMG_20160326_184633578~01.jpg

I would say circa 1930 with this dark finish. Mahogany or stained to mimic. Similar were made on into the 50s but they would have been lighter in color. I don't see anything particularly special about it but that extra shelf underneath makes it nicer than some.

Have not heard of Ferguson. Do you have a link to what you are talking about?

If only Ferguson made the harp , then maybe.....but I'm not seeing the same level of craftsmanship in yours as I perceive in theirs...

Ferguson must be of regional interest? I haven't heard of it here in the Midwest. Seems like the prices on Ferguson furniture are mostly wishful thinking. Couldn't find any actually sold items for big money. Here are the three Ferguson magazine racks that sold. The one brought better than average but that is probably more likely due to the art deco styling than brand name.

    Hi,
Are people nuts? That FLW magazine rack based on his design was sold at Target several years ago. I bought three of them for 19.99 each. What the heck is going on?

    Hi Brad,
No it was the Art Deco, Frank Lloyd Wright cast aluminum one from the Hotel Geneva in Wisconsin, used, they wanted 65 dollars for it. I found down on the list.
I was just so shocked I had to comment.
