Very modern. Even when in a setting these scarabs seem always to be drilled at the ends, either all the way through or only partly. That cartouche on the back is something I have not seen before, most certainly not on genuinely ancient scarabs. AFAIK they still make these today, so age...?

The crazing that can be seen in the dark blue areas indicates a more modern vitreous glaze. Such scarabs were originally made of faience (or various stones), rather than a glazed ceramic. Faience has a more uniform, matte appearance.
