DSCN3388.JPG DSCN3389.JPG DSCN3390.JPG Dear Glass Lovers...Is this 50's amberina crackle piece Blenko? Rainbow? Height is 11-3/4". No marks, of course. A number of Rainbow stoppered bottles look like this but I couldn't locate that form. Thanks for your input.

I ain't going there, so what does it say at the Pinterest link? Blenko? Did you verify Blenko at UncleChuck's links?

If not, for what it's worth, this one supposedly has the original hang tag and is identified as Rainbow Glass number 16126, but I can't find any others using that info.

I do not see the Blenko stopper fitting like that. Rainbow looks more likely to me.

My first thought was Pilgrim or Rainbow vs Blenko.

Found it in my Crackle Glass book (by Stan & Arlene Weitman). They also ID it as Rainbow, but show a version with a different stopper. The bottle base looks to be the same.

Sorry about the awful pic. The book's photos aren't great to begin with, and the pages have a weird marbleized background that messed up the camera's auto-exposure settings.

I think they have a marriage, that stopper doesn't look right at all. The OP's stopper looks much more balanced in size especially

The Crackle Glass book says the manufacturer is "unknown", European, early 1900s? Am I comprehending that right?

Wow - I didn't notice that mistake. The top text refers to the cropped-out piece on the right. There's a matching yellow/amber piece on the following page with the same "Unknown / Early 1900s" ID text. It looks like they accidentally swapped the pics (or the plate numbers, when formatting the text).

I sure saw a lot of those double ball stoppers they have on the book piece on amberina crackle glass cruets when searching for OP's decanter last nite.

There is one without a stopper on ebay right now listed as Blenko.

And another from 2013 at Worthpoint with a replacement stopper.

[..]This decanter stands 7" high with stopper, 5 5/16" without the stopper. The base is just 1 5/16" in diameter but it is @ 4" at widest part...The stopper was purchased separately and I do not believe it is blenko.

A lot of searching and I could only find three other decanters besides OP's in this shape.

Blenko is the "default" ID on pieces like this. I'm fairly certain the one with the hang tag of Rainbow is the correct attribution.
