Anyone know what this is exactly? This has thrown me for a loop. Sits about 18in high, About a 4 in opening, and around 20 in, in diameter.

First thing in the morning I will get a picture of the bottom. I do know it is curved/concaved, not flat and there are no makers marks.

I saw things (as large as your big bottle, with wide opening) in the 70's, used as garden in a bottle with gravels and cacti, with a cork lid... Impossible to find an image for these for now:(

    Welcome on boards! :joyful:

Hi Maryn and welcome. Like the others, I immediately thought of yours as a glass garden bottle, and it really has lovely colour. In Australia we call these terrariums and you can still buy all the bits and pieces, including glass bottles, to make your own from a garden nursery. We also had tall "spaghetti vase" made from similar looking glass around the same time. They were generally used to display flowers.

Here are some local examples from Australia, the first 2 about 40 cm tall (the first is being used to store corks) for about AU$100 each and the 5 vases AU$20 each.
Do you have green thumb to grow your own plants indoors? :D Enjoy.
