Featured Help, I Can't Remember What This Is Called

    Hi all,
    Ack, senior moment, what do you call this little bird that you put on the teapot lid finial to hold the lid in place while pouring the tea? (The elastic goes over the spout and handle)
    any information appreciated

    Seems to be a German thing. Found another called "Lid holder and Drip Catcher".

    "Deckelhalter und Tropfenfänger" returns a few images.

    You might know the saying that each color of ze german flag has its specific meaning, right? Black = wörk, red = wörk, yellow = wörk, green = humor.
