    Hello, my brother found an old antique sword and a porcelain plate in our old garden. Does anyone know what these things are? They look like an old sword and an old ceramic plate.

    Does anyone know the age and value of the items?

    The size of the plate is approximately 40cm.
    The original plate is seen from its 1000 cracks.
    Not sure what dynasty,
    Very different from KW/repro.

    The sword could be a rusty fireside poker from 60 years ago or an Iron Age relic from over 3000 years ago.

    You need to report the find to the Finds Liaison Officer, each County Council in Scotland has its own archaeology finds dept.

    Exactamundo-With that much corrosion it could be either.
    PS-If our Posters would tell us what country their piece was found in,it the sure the **** would help.
