Featured Help Dating Imari charger

    I picked up this 12" charger today. I hope it's 19th century as you can see I paid quite a sum for it

    The painting is quite basic, so it will be inter-war period c1930 - during the economic downturn in Japan. The same is seen on Satsuma and Kutani ware of the same era.

    Thank you @Ce BCA I appreciate your opinion very much.
    I've shown this to two other knowledgeable people, one in hand. They all agree between the wars.
    I'm still learning, and always will be.

    Gosh, my first thought was "that's the plainest imari pattern I've seen!" :woot:
