I purchased this yesterday with a few other things on my trip down the old river road south of Sacramento.
    This little lace edge card is 2 3/4" x 4 1/2"
Small print is Stahlstich (Steel Engraving) V. Carl Mayer's K A in Nurnberg
Someone had taken the time and effort to frame it backed with dark blue felt. much later, I'm sure.
Help with dating if someone might know about this engraver.

This is from the British Museum Website-
'Carl Mayer-primary name: primary name: Mayer, Carl
Details-individual; publisher/printer; print maker; German; Male
    Life dates-1798-1868
Biography-Intaglio printer and engraver based in Nuremberg.'
    ...sweet card.
