    I have been in antiques for greatest part of my life.
    Militaria is of a great intrest to me, but I am in to everything realy.
    Also participating on numerous fora in different languages, since many years.
    Stumbled onto this forum when looking for a African tribal art forum, for a item I would like to discuss.
    Belgian Congo is also one of my themes.

    Welcome. Hope you will post photos of things. Including dimensions and photo of the bottom of the object is helpful.

    A hearty welcome, Kris.

    I can't believe the timing of your joining us.

    On Saturday I found a small piece of cloth with "Belgique 1945" written on it and a small handpainted rural scene in one corner of the cloth. I would love to know more about it and will try to get photos posted today.;)

    Kristiaan, I just posted the small piece of cloth with "Belgique 1945" on it on the Finds thread. I'm hoping you might take a look at it and perhaps identify the scene painted on the cloth. Thank you in advance for any information you may be able to share about the cloth.
