Hello from Devon

    Hi everyone my name is Mike and I'm from Devon England.
    My father was an auctioneer (sheep and antiques) and my 1st job was in an auction rooms where I worked for 9 years and got my love of all things old. I bought many antiques during my time at the saleroom, mostly oriental pottery. My prized possession is an oak cased grandfather clock which was given to me more years ago than I want to admit to for my 21st birthday.
    I have joined the forum hope to get more info on an earthenware "jug" I found whilst clearing my late parents house but I will start another topic for that.
