Heavy Clear Glass, Quilted? Pattern Overall; Another Cigarette Box?

7" by 4 1/2" by 2 3/4"; weight ~61 oz. Iy isn't UV reactive. Top an' bottom are the same. No marks, of course. I seem to recall this pattern from my childhood, on a large square lidded container (no hinges, latch or metal) Mom used as a first-aid storage container.
This one has had good care, for however many years it's been around; I can find no chips anywhere, an' I've put a bit of effort into lookin'! I used Quilted in the title, but would appreciate knowing what this simple pattern is properly called...perhaps caned? Your thoughts are welcome; Thanks for lookin'!
EDIT: This is not cut...it's pressed. But so heavy makes me thing better glass.

 

I believe this is commonly called the "daisy & button" pattern. Everyone & their uncle made this pattern.

the motif is typically called a 'cane' pattern (think of rattan cane seating pattern)
