Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Hi all! Brought this home from NH....just because I still like it!!! 4 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide, and as you'll see there's a crown on the bottom and reads Austria. Other than that, don't know the age.....another 'kick' Mom was on after she got past the "Ladybug buying phase" for me....about some 35 years ago!!! Any info you can add would be most desired!!! I did some searching and could not find one like it!! Thank you one and all for ANY info you may be able to come up with!!!!!:kiss:

Whoa.....just did another ebay search and up popped one almost identical, but no bottom stamp showing.....!!! Lid's a different color too...I like the price on Yours, @i need help, better than the one I found!!!! Description on bottom stamp of 'yours' sounds identical to mine, though!! Thank you!!

The photo was from Pinterest which led to the link. The price might have been the asking price. Maybe someone will find the maker mark.

    Hi,
Reminds me of a tobacco jar. That large indent on the lid would hold a sponge to keep the tobacco moist.

I think that mark is just a generic early 20th century import mark.
