What is the red stuff with white specks? They are very heavy and my first thought was reconstituted brick. In my attempt on searching I thought I found another animal with the same type eyes and it was some well-known artist that did these types of figurines in Denmark or Europe somewhere I thought I saved the page and now cannot find the original post I was looking at Just wondering if anyone here recognizes them They have a 70's vibe to me

    Any help is appreciated

Gee, I’m thinking brick clay, too. Owls were a popular decorative motif in the 60s and 70s, yes. Do I see some felt pen marks or brush ink marks on the bottom?

I don’t think it says anything g as it could be a production mark or something like that. Just makes me think Asian production then.

I was trying to mark the image I cut out to show you that was the price I paid I didn't want you to confuse that with anything else that was there when I bought it
