    Has anyone seen this before? I need help identifying what this is and who made it?. I believe its carved bone or I could be wrong.

    Given that carved in 1979 I suspect this was not made by a "tribe." Of course I could be wrong but it also has carved letters.

    It's a piece of carved bone, but that's all I'm sure of.

    Just a guess - could it be a libation cup (I think they were made of rhino horn?)?
    Although to me it looks more pacific islands?

    Libation cup would be my guess - with a form borrowed from rhino-horn.
