Harry Caunce painting

A new charity shop has opened in the village near to where I work. The first one in fact.. hoorah. Now I can go and have a mooch at dinner time. Found this in there today. Not sure if it is oil or acrylic. I am leaning towards acrylic. It looks like he is an established and still active artist, with numerous outlets for his work. I don't think this is one of his better pieces but its still good. Most paintings that I gave bought are coastal or have a watery theme.
