Happy New Year to all the collectors, hoarders and dealers out there. Hopefully, your 2017 will be a good one!

Got this ugly but not ugly (it's growing on me!) milk glass pitcher and goblets. Any idea who made it? Thanks!

    Try these key words:

Kemple Glass Milk Glass Jewel and Dewdrop Pattern or Lace and Dewdrop

That's what I got in a quick search for milk glass jewel pattern. I didn't see any with the pink coloring. Hopefully someone else can verify or not.

Hi again! I had more time to poke around the internet for a little while. I'm finding info that Phoenix Glass made this pattern before Kemple and that Kemple never applied any color.

True or not... I don't know yet, but dropping the info for you.

Originally a Co-Operative Flint patter the molds were acquired by Phoenix Glass who made your set circa 1940 and then on to Kemple called the pattern "Lace and Dewdrop" Collectors also used Beaded Jewel. They made a bunch of it in a wide range of shapes. Wheatocraft got them from Kemple.

Phoenix Sculptured Artware reproduced this as their #800 'Lace Dew Drop' c1937 in both pink or cobalt fired on accents. Kemple did also reproduce this pattern in colored glass but not with applied fired on colors. The pattern was originally by Co-Operative Flint Glass as 'Lacy Dewdrop' in crystal c1902.

There's one with a partial Phoenix Glass label from 2005, but LOL, they listed it as LADY DEW DROP instead of Lacy Dew Drop.
Can't help thinking of "Horses sweat, men perspire, ladies dew" (or some say "ladies glow").

It's a dead pinch on coloured parian and jasperware patterns, as is the jug shape. Interesting!

Nice pitcher. Not ever seen milk glass with that treatment. Is it cold paint or ? Just curious. Thanks.

These colors are fired on so more permanent than the cold pain.
