Handmade African Tin Art

    Bought these little guys a while back from a guy in Cape Town. The craftmanship is not that good, but you can see that hours of work went into these.

    Folk art for sure. I've seen similar things come out of Africa before, not to mention the Caribbean. And the Depression and WWII. My dad's father made toys out of old tin cans then too.
