Featured Hand turned pot .... Studio or identifiable?

    This vase is hand turned, reddish buff clay, fairly heavy, and without marks. Glaze is similar to NC pottery. Not sure the clay is red enough and seems a bit heavy. Second pic shows a glaze skip with natural clay color. The orange glazed areas seem to be clear with the natural clay showing through. 4 1/2" x 5" dia. Any ideas?

    Belgian had crossed my mind. I am leaning toward this being studio pottery. Just seems heavier than most comercial wares. Just thought I would throw it out there to see if anyone recognized it offhand.

    Older Belgian pots are quite substantial and that glaze does look right.
