Are you sure this was made in Brazil? The letters following "Made in" don't look like the ones in BRAZIL (although they are rather blurry.) And the decoration has nothing Brazilian about it - more like Alpine European - the clothing, building, deer, etc.

I see Portuguese pottery passed through a tropical lens.

I'm with Bakers, the chalet and people look Alpine. Mind you, a lot of Bavarians (and other Germans) emigrated to Brazil.

Think it reflects the traditions of southern Brazil which had lots of Bavarian immigrants (as above.) And the deer are very typical of traditional Portuguese pottery.

Do you think it might say Italy?

As blurred as those letters are, that is definitely a possibility!

There is a definite Z toward the end, but only looks to have 5 letters, and Brazil is 6. So maybe the "I" didn't get definitive enough on the stamp. So no one knows what the brand is?

I'd check if there were immigrants by the name of "Schrader".

    Italy, not Brazil.Salvatore.

And Italian Tyrol. Those are mountain goats, not deer.

Maybe frolicking chamois, with those thin horns with the curved ends, and a more delicate build.

    What do you think?;)

I'd agree on chamois, which I think it what my first image was. Certainly mountain goats, not deer!
