Hand Painted Butterfly Butter Pats - Mark?

    Hi Board Buddies! I'm hoping someone might recognize the mark on these butter pats. Each pat measures 3" across. I'm assuming 1883 was the date of production. If anyone knows anything about these items it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

    Looks like a hobbyist china painter whose first or last initial was 'H'...

    Thanks, Cheryl! That was my first thought but I thought I'd better run it past y'all before I listed. Thought there was an outside chance it was like the crossed swords or cross arrows mark. And thanks for the compliment Bakersgma! This was another time I got to play my least favorite game "Keep it or sell it?"
