Hand embroidered cat tails

Could not resist this beautiful 13 x 20 hand embroidered on silk , flowers and cat tails let me know what you think, The back is just covered in brown paper no markings so I didn’t take a picture of that Thanks

 

Sweet. I'd think that 1940s/1950s but others may disagree. May well have come from kit.

I'd be thinking late 40s to mid 50s too. It's what ladies did while listening to the radio at night, or later watching TV. You bought the kits either in a five and dime, a department store (if you were posh) or through mail-order (if you didn't live near a city).

I'd think 1940s and quite a nice modern design, a bit more sophisticated than dime store. Backing doesn't look like silk though, more like rayon.
