Hand Carved and painted wood cowboy figure

    Ok so this might not be 'art' to some people but I really fell in love with this little cowboy. He reminds of a Gene Zesch type of figure but the initials are KL. Any one recognize the artist? IMG_4533.JPEG IMG_4534.JPEG IMG_4536.JPEG IMG_4538.JPEG IMG_4537.JPEG IMG_4540.JPEG

    I'd say just a folk-art carving; small carved cowboys have been a favorite of home craftspeople for years, patterns have often been featured in the wood-carving magazines; and you can find them at craft fairs and such. My Dad even did some. Probably pretty hard to track down the carver;
    This one does have some artistic flair.
