Some type of wine decanter? Any idea of origin/maker?
    Thanks

Don't know who made it, but the central container is meant for ice, to keep the beverage cool without diluting it as the ice melts. I can't figure out how you would pour or serve from this with no spout. Very odd. You're sure these pieces belong to each other?

Is that another "container section" inside? Or does the hole in the top go all the way through?

    I also had similar concerns.
Not sure if the insert is original. The raised center part in the bowl is open both ends and there is space between it and the walls. The narrowing top of the bowl would make it difficult to put something inside. Plus the raised part is somewhat crooked and off center.

Thanks, it does look like the fly trap you linked. So most likely the other part does not go with it.
    Pretty ambitious price.
