    AAAAAAAAAALL ABOOOOAAAARD!!

The watch on the left is my latest acquisition - a 1925 Hamilton Model 992. One of the most famous railroad chronometer pocketwatches in the world!! I'd been telling myself I'd get my hands on another pocketwatch sometime in the future, and this was what i bought. I had some cash burning a hole in my pocket, so I bought this as a Christmas present for myself.

It's made in Lancaster, Pennnsylvania, and the case is 14kt white-gold-filled. A nice contrast to my other watch, which is yellow-gold-filled.

I paid a bit more than I probably should have, but it came with the benefit of a professional servicing thrown in, so why not? At least i won't have to worry about sending it off to be fixed anytime soon! So far, it's keeping fantastic time.

The watch on the right is my regular Ball-Record from 1950.

Pulled a silver watch chain out of my jewelry box to go along with the watch...
