Featured Halley's Comet brooch or wishful thinking??

Kind of fun morning, neighbor asked me if I wanted to look through some vintage jewelry they were donating. Nothing crazy valuable, but some fun pieces and I could take anything I liked.

I've always hoped to find a Halley's Comet brooch. Thinking this one is not that, or ??

Since pin orientation puts it vertical it doesn't present as a comet, but what do you think?



Center is metal, got some reflections. It's evenly colored. (Bottom rhinestones also got reflection. They are clear.)

I would lean towards it being just an asymmetrical fringe piece since the pin set orientation is not horizontal. Interested to see what others say.

 

I think it might be MCM . Maybe a comet or satellite ?

 

After looking at the page BELOW, I see no reason why yours couldn't be a Halley's brooch as well!!!!!

Later Halley’s Comet, definitely.

 

And the tail looks like two dangles, jointed and movable, not fixed like a comet's tail.
