Hall Pottery Glove Mold #9283

    Hi. Can anyone tell me about the age of this Hall glove mold? Could this have been the original color or was it painted? Thanks!

    Just a guess about the color.
    Since it has a gripping texture on the hand, perhaps it's a coating to aide in its release? You would need to see if other molds with texture all have a different color than smooth ones.

    I've only rotated through the pyrex white porcelain hand molds! Interesting texture and believe Roaring is correct.
