Hagness Pewter Norway

    Picked up a pewter cigarette box today just like this one sold on ebay.

    They listed it as being from 1976. I would have thought it a bit older and they give no justification for the date. I have found matching pieces listed as being MCM. I find a Finn Hagness who worked in silver and pewter who died in the 50s. Is this the same company? ..... or does anyone have any information about Hagness?

    I love cigarette boxes, as long as they don't have tobacco in them.

    Thanks SIS! Seems like it is probably the same company. Looks like the box could have been produced on in to the 70s. Found this lurking in the junk at the Goodwill at a bargain price.
