Hello. My name is Jennie and I've been living in WA for the last 8ish years. I have always had a love for all things antique and even more so for all things unusual. Everyday is a treasure hunt and I feel like after 30 years of being on this earth I've found myself with quite a large collection...which I often tell myself is not a bad thing, even if my storage unit is bursting at the seams (I'm not a hoarder. I'm not a hoarder...) :p I'm currently in the middle of purchasing a home built in 1900 :joyful: and thought it might be time to start digging for info on some of these awesome things I've found over the years.

    Hi Jennie,

Welcome. I just recently joined, pretty much same situation going on with me. I've got so much stuff my friends and family think i've gone mad, considering i've bought over 1000 items in just a year without even thinking about trying to sell it on.....The time has come to try and start offloading my hoard or I'll be sleeping in the kitchen before long :woot:

I look forward to seeing some of your stuff. Enjoy

Welcome fellow hoarders ... collectors... ;-) I'm primarily a jewelry collector, if only because I can fit a pile of it in a relatively small space.

Haha, I have no plans on selling...at least at the moment. I've made sure that the new house has enough room for what I have now and more. I wish I could say I collected only a few types of things - I have a bit of everything and some of which aren't even whole "things" at all lol piano legs...tops of old vanities/headboards (know clue) but I like them! I'm a huge fan of re-purposing too so in my mind I always tell myself I can make something with it "later on" ;)

Rooster...u won't believe this...but 30 becomes 50 ..in the blink of an eye....& you'll wonder how come your house is so small, and things you put in the corner of one room....will then be things you haven't seen for 20 years....

    Welcome to our nightmare !;)

Piano leg kitchen table? With a headboard top? Salvage Dogs rocks! (DIY network show on architectural salvage and repurposing)

Welcome; I'm from WA also, and not a hoarder, not a hoarder.....not a hoarder.....though my basement says otherwise.
