Just looking for some thoughts on this piece, I was told it was Green Turquoise but given I have never seen any I really have no idea.... or even if it is indeed Native American. Thoughts?

    it may be Howlite ....
and while looking Navajo.....I can't say for certain that it is.....

It looks like Cerrillos turquoise from New Mexico.....
But......I have never seen a Native American cuff styled this way. The flattened out twist is not typical and the oval design on the ends is odd too.
Perhaps it is Anglo made or from Mexico.

Mexicans have been known to hammer the rope twist flat......

    Not NA imo.
Others too. Could even have been made in Asia.
It is a nice cuff, but you may never find the origin.

Not to comment on the piece you posted by any means. I barely looked at it and wouldn’t probably know anyways. However I feel like half the sterling/turquoise items on eBay that are more than ten years old are described as “Fred Harvey Era, Old Pawn, Native American, Navajo” not necessarily in that order.

On a piece like this, you kind of have to make an educated guess. I know that on eBay people will say anything to make a sale!

The design is not in the old Fred Harvey adverts, that I know of.
Those designs were mainly made of sheet silver with Persian blue turquoise, or turquoise pretty close to Persian blue.
