Green Glaze Pottery Vase, Sawed Off Neck?

    Any idea of the maker. 5 3/4" tall. Do you think the neck was damaged and then sawed off?

    Hard saying. Appears to be hand thrown so most likely a studio piece. Top is likely ground down as opposed to being sawn. Wonder if it had some kind of insert.

    sawing would have left blade striations ...
