Hi everyone--I have this deep bottle green footed urn shaped vase (or compote?) and am hoping someone can ID it or tell me something about it.

It's just under 4 1/2" tall and has a top diameter of 6 7/8". The interior has a satin finish, and the rim is ground and polished. Unmarked.

    Thanks for your help!

    Pretty! :)
Could it be for a dessert?

    I don't think it's a serving piece. I think it's for a flower arrangement.

It's not little like a dessert dish (though if you filled it with a quart of good ice cream and some hot fudge, I could probably eat all of it LOL). 4 1/2" tall and almost 7" top diameter is good size but not huge.
