We believe this is my great grandmother’s wedding ring, but we aren’t sure. Can anyone tell me how old they think it is? Any other facts would be greatly appreciated.

Something out of a Crackerjacks box or gumball machine? Your photos are too out of focus to see details.

It would be helpful to know her wedding date.

She would have been married around 1960

    Hi JF,
Did you mean to write 1860 instead of 1960? Only ask since I am married as long as your great grandmother.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

That is funny. I mean 1960. This was her 3rd marriage I believe and she was in her 60s at the time.

Which puts her back to being born probably somewhere around 1900s....but was it her 3rd marriage wedding ring???? Something seems "off" about it, I mean aside from being waaaay out of focus!!!

Do you know what it's composed of? Been tested -- the metal? the stones?

I found a few adjustable wedding rings, but only silver, and only "vintage", not "antique". I guess since it was the 60s it could be silver, but it is not marked as such. I guess they should get the diamonds checked to see if they are "real"...and go from there?

Stracci is correct. Rings that are made to be adjustable are not usually valuable, sorry to say. If you can find a jeweler who will appraise it for free, do it, but don't pay to have it appraised.
