Grandpa's Treasures

Does anyone know what this is or what the writing means? I found it in an old chest of my Grandpa's.

 

"Glorious sculpture by famous man Ding Dongh strictly limited to 25000 copies."

Or something like that.

It seems to be cast from brass, due to relatively low definition of details.

Did he serve in the Pacific in WWII?

 

Yes, he served in the Pacific in WWII, I'm not exactly sure where he was stationed. I think it is made of iron possibly, it is really heavy.

 

Does a magnet attract it?
