In response to @Debora's kind invitation, I am posting some images and basics about the scarf collection from my grandmother that I am passing along at this time to my niece (at her request : - ).

Any information that might help my niece better appreciate these scarves would be most appreciated. Based on family history (Grandma passed away in 1994 at the venerable age of 101), I suspect that the collection as a whole (the oldest pieces) may date back about 75 years.

(To improve appearance and at least minimize odor, all pieces have been carefully hand washed and ironed.)

The purple paisley piece, which is about average for the collection, is 26 inches square. With the exception of three rectangular pieces, all are square and were used as babushkas (headscarves tied under the chin, in the Russian style).

I'll start with an image of the entire collection of 19 pieces. I selected eight that impressed me as the most interesting, for
    individual images.

So nice to see how lovingly and respectfully your niece's inheritance has been treated. At a quick glance, I see lots of 1950s. And all appear to be in gently used condition. As a rule of thumb, three things contribute to the collector interest/value of vintage scarves. They are: 1) silk, 2) plump hand-rolled hem and 3) design house. The standout amongst what I see is the LEONARD FASHION, a design house noted for its floral prints. The label dates it to the 1970s.

It seems to me that you've done a lot of great research already, @DBinSV.
