There is some pencil writing on the paper below the painting which I am not quite sure what it says - looks like &quot;blue grass&quot; almost but I&#039;m not sure, and &quot;blue grass&quot; wouldn&#039;t really make sense given the scene. I&#039;m assuming I can roughly date this painting to around the date of the newspaper? And assume it&#039;s from that general area? (Hungary, Austria) - I&#039;m also guessing this is a scene from the Alps. Thanks for any input.
