Gorham(?) Slotted Spoon

I have this spoon from my mother-in-law's collection. From my (brief, uneducated) research, I think the mark is Gorham, but I'll be darned if I can figure out what the pattern is. It's a mother and child. It's monogrammed "S(?). N. E.", which I'm sure is a family member. Also of note is that the slotting pattern appears off-center. Not sure if that's part of the design or if one side of it was damaged or something. Any help with ID'ing this greatly appreciated. 5.25" long, bowl is 2.25" at its widest.

 

Confectioners spoon, sugar sifter. Some patterns have regularly spaced perforations; others don't. Haven't a clue about the pattern, but think it is probably one used for specific side pieces, rather than for place settings.
