Featured Gold tone Ribbon Pin

Another ID approx date if at all possible 3" long approx 1" wide blue Cabachon? No markings.. ty all so very much

 

Classic late 80s; it's looking for a suit with big shoulder pads.

 

Can I ask you how you would list this? Cabachon Ribbon brooch? not sure if I'm allowed to ask that

 

I'd probably have it in a lot of similar pieces. Blue Cabochon Rhinestone and Goldtone 1980s Moderne Ribbon Pin Brooch, probably. Or something like that.

Sometimes I don't even need to look at the I'd - I know exactly would replied, lol.

@Tricia Harr did you look along the pin for a mark? Have no idea if it's gold - it just fits in with Paloma Picasso's mass produced style from the 80s - but it's not Paloma Picasso's work, so...

I lived in San Francisco in the golden eighties - there was one woman who got on my downtown bus every morning in the best cut black suit, black cluncky pumps, black bobbed hair, red lipstick and no jewelry or purse.

How I recall the eighties.

I've still got brooches just like that, which went with that whole power dressing thing.
