    Hello forum,
I hope y'all are doing super today! When I was a kid, like 40-50 years ago, every Chinese person I knew who had jewelry, had this hallmark. Since I didn't collect, buy or sell in them days, I never even thought about it until I came across it a few years ago. Does anyone at all know who the designer or company in Hong Kong who used this hallmark/makers mark? Some ppl call it a WW but it's not. It's a W with a V slightly covering the W. In shorthand, it's either a WV or a VW, also, I could be wrong, as that's happened to me before. 112.gif I appreciate all comments or suggestions, I already contacted Heritage and their hallmark person couldn't identify it. Anyone here know?

I actually got one answer from a seller on ebay, so I wanted to share that with the forum. Part of her post is below. With that said, when ppl visited Hong Kong, say before the 1950's and 60's were they not allowed to bring gold jewelry back into the US? I mean, did they have to sneak it over? I know gold coins were off limits from 1933 until 1971? Anyone know?

"WW was the maker's mark (hallmark) for a company that she worked for in the 80's based in Seattle...World Wide Imports...importers and distributes of akoya pearls from Japan and jadeite from HK..."

    Welcome to the forum, jenjewlz.
Do you have pictures? Showing the necklace, and also closeups of the jade, so we can hopefully see the structure of the stone.

WW World Wide Imports is correct. I’ve had several pieces over the years and always end up searching the mark so I can list it properly. Then I kick myself for not remembering it from the last time

Thank you!! I like that the slide can be taken off easily to change it up a bit.
