Having had a very dry spell finding treasures, this lovely fur clip came home with me today.
It’s c2” long and tests as 9ct although I can’t find a mark anywhere on it. The pins test as base metal.
The pin has a C clip to keep them secure which I haven’t seen before but I’ve not handled many fur clips.
The white stones test as Sapphire and the pink as Spinel. The pink glow under UV.
Any ideas of age or country of origin please?
    Thankyou :)

Nice isn’t it! It was tossed in with the modern costume brooches, I whipped it up very quickly!

Very nice!!! @KSW, I know your eyes are sharp as tacks, but do my 3 arrows show anything....the curved one looks like an initial, and the two 'squiggly' ones look like there's some writing..........?

    Ditto.
My guess is USA. Occasionally jewellery from the USA or Canada makes it across the Pond. Usually NA jewellery, but on rare occasions non-NA as well.
