    Hi,
Would this be a necklace or for something else? It is 16 1/4"L not including the closure, marked 9C. Also, each link is not smooth but has facets on each one, not sure it that is a correct term for gold or not? Is there a name for this design?
    Any information appreciated
    thanks for looking

It's a standard choker length now; it would have been considered a regular necklace earlier on. Some Victorian chokers were only 12/13 inches long. That piece is looking for a locket or something similar.

I love it. Belcher chains are my favourite chain type.
