I know y'all love it when I saw I probably have a snowball's chance in hell. ;) I'm looking for a little assistance with IDing this orange decanter/bottle, if you will. It is about 8 1/4" diameter x 6 1/4" tall and machine made. Thank you. OrangeBottle.png

Probably off base, but it has a sort of Blenko vibe to it. At least the color does.

If it wasn't for the fact that it is machine made :( I would agree.

I am just throwing this out there after doing a quick lookey loo.
I never heard of Rainbow Art Glass which I believe then became Viking. I was wondering if this vase could be from that co?

I think it is a lovely vase no matter who made it.

New Martinsville Glass became Viking Glass
I think Rainbow Glass is all handblown? That would rule them out.
I post it in a Bischoff/Indiana Handcraft group on FB
One person responded there that it was a newer import sold at T.J. Max but he also said it was cold painted and not to soak it in water.
Told him that I'm very familiar with fired on colors and that I don't believe this is. Also, that I had already soaked this for an hour when I brought it home with no color loss. Unfortunately, the person that responded is also one of the "gurus" in one of the Viking groups on FB

Oy, fired on, I agree with you. I don't see that at all.
I guess it is a mystery for now.
One day you will solve it or better minds here will help.

Hopefully it will be gone over the weekend ;) I'm listing it in a 2 day auction this weekend in a group that I moderate on FB
