Glass Stopper Marked with a V

    I have this bottle stopper with a swirl design. It's fairly large and probably goes with a decanter. It's marked with a Von the bottom. Is it anything good?

    It’s a 7 not a V. The bottle would have had the same number so as to match them up.

    Thank you. I see these attributed to Baccaeat but I knew they wouldn't put a V on the bottom.

    A baccarat stopper wouldn't have a mold seam, I'm thinkin'...

    I saw the mold seem and it goes right down the middle but how would they then get that out of a 2 piece iron glass mold? Can silicone withstand molten glass at over 2000° F?
